VOICE presenting at national conference

The Campus Health VOICE team have been invited to present results from the UBCO student food insecurity project at the national conference, Promoting Food Security in Higher Education, on March 4, 2021, 11:00 am – 12:30 pm PST.  The team will share their experiences of utilizing institutional prevalence data, such as the Canadian Campus Wellbeing Survey (CCWS), to focus research questions and engage the campus community in table talks and dialogues about food security.  The presentation is part of a session entitled, What do we know? The state of food security research and dialogue. This virtual, month-long conference is free and will explore links between campus and community-based efforts to change local food environments and build community-wide food security.
